Grade: Skyprene B - 30 Brand: Tosoh, Japan Mooney Viscocity: 45 - 53 General purpose chloroprene rubber grade of mercaptan modified type with a medium rate of crystallization. Application: Automotive rubber parts, Industrial rubber goods, Electrical wire and cables, Belts, Hoses, Rolls, Anti-vibration rubber parts, Others Foremost among the qualities that make Skyprene superior to other Chloroprene Synthetic Rubber compounds is its resistance to cold, heat, abrasion, oils, and chemicals. Exhibits good crystallization rate, offers moderate mooney viscosity and good storage stability. Skyprene general-purpose grades modulus, tensile strength, and tear strength are increased through the use of raw rubber with a high mooney viscosity. Skyprene B-30 is a mercaptan-modified, general-purpose grade with a medium rate of crystallization and moderate mooney viscosity. This chloroprene Rubber offers good heat, oil, and weather resistance and good storage stability. Tosoh Corporation was established in 1935.
